Dinner Menu (Jackie)

Image
Dinner Menu " The Kennedy family dinner table has been a prime example, generally described more as work than an opportunity for family bonding."( Source ) "If the children arrived even seconds late, they did so at their peril. If one of their guests was tardy, Joe would often fly into a rage and administer a tongue-lashing. ( Source ) Due to the Kennedys normal Dinner rules, all guests must arrive on time. Before the Kennedys moved into the White house dinners were rather a dull affair. However Jackeline Kennedy changed the dinner scene. She had a love for the finer things in life. She hired a french chef,  Rene Verdon,  shortly after moving into The White House. Verdon not only influenced the White Houses meals, but quickly influenced the nations. Furthermore, i nstead of having the normal, six course meal, Jackie streamlined meals, so there was enough time for entertainment and socializing afterwards.  Meals included foods listed below,...

Invitation (Jackie)

Image
This invitation incorporates the importance of Jackie Kennedy, and how attending this party would give one a glimpse at how she was so much more than a Mother, First Lady, and Star of a film. The party will take place on July 28, 2018 because that is Jackie Kennedys birthday. The invitation also includes "Dinner, Drinks, and Entertainment." I included "entertainment," because while the Kennedys were at the White House it became the "cultural center of the nation." The Kennedys were the first to host musicians, artists, and writers at the White House. Guest List: Jacqueline B Kennedy   Jackie Kennedy would be the most valuable guest to have attend this party. Jackie Kennedy was the wife of the nations 35th president,  John F. Kennedy. Jackie worked hard to be worthy of her role as the first lady. She wanted to bring more history to the White House, so she brought in historical pieces and made many renovations. The film "Jackie"...
